Q.growing hydrangeas

Do you need to deadhead hydrangea spent blooms like you do roses? And if so, how far down the stem do you cut? Thank you for your time.

No, you do not need to deadhead it. It will be fine without doing this, but you can remove the spent blooms without harming the plant if you would like.
