Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comDo you have any suggestions for combinations that may work well. There is lots written about herbs and veg together, but not much on herbs and non edibles . For example I would think some herbs (Mediterranean) and succulents may mix well because of the soil type.

You are correct. They should do fine together. Things like marigolds and nasturtium give benefit to the plants they are set near.
The only caution that I have is to make sure that the plants near your herbs are not toxic, to avoid any contamination.
