Growing Grass

I recently had a stump ground up. I have been trying to get grass to grow in that area with no success. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Many times, decomposing wood can raise the pH of soil. The stump remaining under the ground may be doing this. We recommend having the soil around the stump’s former location tested. If it is acidic, add lime to bring the pH back in balance.
