geraniums in pots

Growing geraniums in pots in a planter that holds around 30 plants, in tiers. This is for outdoors. Will they grow in full sun and what soil to plant them in?

Geranium can be grown in full sun and you should plant them in a good quality potting soil
Make sure the pots have drainage.
Container plants will need to be watering daily and even twice a day when the temperatures are hot.
