Q.growing for profit

Anonymous added on June 30, 2015 | Answered

I have at least 5 acres that I could put into production of plants. Sandy loam soil and water available. Already grow all the veggies we eat and can. But this old farm needs to be productive and I have no idea what sells in central Texas. Any ideas or resources you could share will be greatly appreciated. Have two able bodies for labor. Please give me push in “SOME???” direction. Thanks

You could try contacting your local agricultural extension office.
They may be able to help you decide on a suitable crop to invest in.
