Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI just picked a fig from my friend’s tree. It may sound like a stupid question, but what’s the best way to plant them? I tried a cutting from the same tree a couple of years ago; it didn’t work. Thanks in advance.

Here is an article on fig tree propagation that will help you. Growing from seeds is very hard and often results in failure. I would recommend giving cuttings another chance. Granted, cuttings are not always successful (as you discovered), but this is why the recommendation is to root 6-8 cuttings at a time. Good luck!
