Are the needs for this variety any different than bearded irises? How much moisture, sun, soil pH, etc.?

Grows best in full sun with regular watering. May need extra water in the extreme heat of summer.
Care is the same as all Iris.

The ideal ph for Iris is 6.8-slightly acidic.
Iris will tolerate less then perfect soil. Neutral soil ph is 6.5 to 6.8.
