Do you do anything to promote the development of a head for either of these vegetables? My broccoli has produced well, but I don’t seem to be getting anything but leaves on the cabbage and cauliflower.

They need cool weather in order to form heads. You can help keep them “cool” by placing mulch around the base and this should help.
