growing banana squash from their seeds.

Can I dry the seeds from a banana squash and then plant them again in the Spring ? How do I properly dry the seeds ? I cannot find the plants in the Spring. I live in Idaho.

Hello,

You can harvest the seeds, and dry them on a paper towel. Make sure to turn them at least once during the process. Then you can store them in a glass container or a bag in a drawer somewhere dark and cool until you wan to plant it. Keep in mind that if there were anymore other types of squash in the area, then you may have a totally different squash form than what you planted.
