Growing Avocado Trees Indoors

I would like to purchase a dwarf avocado tree for indoor use. I have heard type A’s are better for self pollinating is this true and what variety of dwarf avocado indoor trees do you recommend? Thank you for your help. Betty Otte

Actually, type B would be better suited. Because there will be more overlap in time that both male and female flowers are open at the same time, it will be more likely to self pollinate with some help.

You will need to pollinate the stigma with some pollen with a soft brush, by hand.
