Growing a Hibiscus

I have repotted 2 hibiscus trees in pots just an inch bigger. The leaves are turning yellow, but new leaves are growing in that same spot. Is this normal?

Because hibiscus grow fast, I usually repot into something 4-6” larger. If the yellow leaves are closest to the soil, this is normal. If the yellow leaves are all over the plant, it’s probably just a sign that it’s been too dry. Shedding leaves during or after a stress is a normal reaction by plants. Hibiscus are known to send out new growth quickly. I wouldn’t worry too much, just keep it evenly moist and feed according to package directions.

I have to agree with the above answer. Also, sometime the plant get aphids and if so buy systemic which is put in the diirt and will kill the bugs through the root system.
