Q.Growing purslane from seeds

Zone NYC | alexlais added on September 3, 2015 | Answered

I’m trying to grow purslane from seeds and not succeeding. The seedlings are really small, don’t seem to be growing at all and eventually they tilt and die. Despite the fact I have over 40 plants in my house, I can’t grow this weed! It is very frustrating. Am I putting too much water? Should the seedlings be placed under the sun or not? I can’t believe I can’t grow this weed that Monsanto can’t kill. What am I doing wrong? Please advise. I am very frustrated. Thank you!

Direct sowing outdoors will likely be more successful.
