Q.Groundcover Recommendations

Zone 30039, 7B | kjmmga added on May 22, 2020 | Answered

I am looking for a groundcover that will grow in Georgia Red Clay (no soil). I also have three dogs so it has to be safe for them. I have a rather large area that consists of boulders, rocks, and lots of red clay. I appreciate any recommendations. Thank you for your time. Karen

That tightens things up quite a bit. There will be very few plants that will meet all three requirements, but the best place to start will be nitrogen-fixing legumes.
