Q.Ground Covering Plant For Shallow Shaded Location
Hi, our front garden is North facing with slabs that have areas filed with gravel squares in it. Not sure why the previous owners didn’t put a slab in there. Rather than have a mismatched slab, is there a plant that will grow in very shallow soil 3 – 4 cm but spread and provide some colour at some time of the year. Ideally have foliage all year round? Sorry to be so needy! Thank you.

Most zone 7 plants are just comfortable, here, as well.
