Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI was chopping up green tomatoes to make chutney, and found two that were bright red inside with all the seeds, but still bright light green on the outside. I was trying to find out why, as I like your site. I thought they ripened from the outside. I wish I’d photographed them now, but they’re simmering in the pan. Any ideas as to what’s happening? I seem to remember they were ‘Moneymaker’ breed tomatoes.

Tomatoes ripen from the inside out.
