Green One Day Appears Dead The Next

Question

Shrub was green with little holes in the leaves. Two days later it looks like this. I have no idea what type of shrub it is. Just moved into this house a couple of years ago.

Wow! That appears to have been some insect infestation led to fungal infection! You will need the insecticide of your choice to keep insects from eating the shrub, and a fungicide of your choice to rid it of the infection that it is sustaining from the damage.
