green growth on azalea twigs

Question

I wrote to you last week about the azalea problem I’m having with greenish growth on the twigs of one of my azaleas. It is on almost all the twigs. The leaves on the plant are green and believe it or not, a few buds have opened. All the other buds have turned brown. I’m trying to send you a pic of the problem bush. I’m new to sending pics, so let me know if you received it. Thanks.
