Leaves are turning brown and falling off plant. Do we lack something in the soil?

Can you include a photo? This is more likely an infection rather than a deficiency. This is not common with beans. I would apply wettable sulfur and dolomitic lime to the soil as, both, a spot treatment and as a preventative.

Again, a photo will help me to confirm this. Then I can give you the best advice on how to deal with the issue at hand.
