Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI picked many green beans before knowing that I should let them dry on the vine to harvest the seeds for next year. Will these seeds, once dry, still be likely to be viable? They are very large and still in the pods.

They may still be viable but likely would have a lower germination rate.
It is best to let them dry on the vine to store energy.
