Question

How do I trim the side shoots of the vine in the growing season? It needs immediate treatment but I’m scared of cutting the wrong piece or not enough. This is the first year and it’s growing like mad. I would hate to lose my first chance of a harvest. I would appreciate any help you can give.

Read the article, don't be afraid to prune where you need too, but do make sure your clippers are sterile before you start and sterilize them again after you finish. Simple to keep diseases from spreading, but many gardeners don't think about it.
