Q.Grapevine doesn’t produce fruit yet

Zone TUCSON ARIZONA | susiemc63 added on May 1, 2014 | Answered

I don’t know the variety of this plant anymore, only that it’s a grape! We planted one plant in a huge planter. It gets morning sun till around noon, then it has shade. We didn’t have any frost this winter! It has nice healthy leaves. It’s about three years old. It’s warm/hot in the summer. Gets plenty of water! Maybe it needs another plant to make grapes?

Except for one or two varieties, grapes are self-fruitful, so another plant is not needed for fruit production. This article has information on growing grapes: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/edible/fruits/grapes/growing-grapevines.htm
