Strawberry Plants

Question

I very much need info on using laterals of our strawberry plants, which have been grown in a strawberry tower here in NZ. I want to transplant them but have become confused with different info I have read. I would like some help with easily understood explanations.

This is a good article on doing it, but it is meant for people here in the states, so the months would be off for you. July-August would be mid summer. Mid-August - September would be late summer. http://www.gardenhive.com/fruit/strawberries/grow/runners/
