Aucuba Plants
Q.

Gold-Spotted Aucuba

Anonymous added on December 22, 2010 | Answered

I am curious as to what I may have done to have all the leaves of my Aucuba plant to fall. It once was very full and hardy, but now it looks like a closed umbrella. Is there a way to reverse this?

Either you are having a harsh winter, there is stress (most likely drought) on the plant, or you have an infestation of the little sneaky scale insect (common on Acuba. Much gardening and other advice at http://www.newleafplants.com under the articles link
