Gladiolus

What or how long is the blooming time of gladiolus? Once the flower dies, will it bloom again or should I cut it down?

Mine last about a week from the first bloom opening. I cut the stem of blooms off then let the leaves continue until they start turning brown then cut them to about 3 inches from the ground. much like an Iris.

Generally, gladiolus flowers bloom from the bottom up for 7-10 days. No, the glads will not rebloom, so once they are finished flowering, cut the stem back as far as you can. If you live in a mild area, they will rebloom next year. Otherwise, you need to dig them up and store them for replanting.
