Gladiola corms

The gladiola corms have already sprouted and are pointing sideways because they weren’t cleaned until now. Do I let them sit and wait for the sprouts to straighten up or plant as is? If I do that, will they straighten up as they grow – reaching for the sky?

Go ahead and plant them as normal.
The Corms should correct themselves.

Here is a link to proper planting.

I would plant them as is. Gladiola corms, even if planted on their side, will grow shoots sideways for an inch or so and will start growing upright. They will always straighten and right themselves.
