Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI put my sprouting ginger and tumeric plant in my garage. They got too cold and the leaves have died, the roots seem fine. Should I cut the stems and will they keep growing or grow new stems and leaves? I am trying to grow them in the house over winter….I would welcome any advice as soon as possible. I wish to replant them. I had them started in small pots and was planning to transplant them after the holidays, putting them outdoors this summer in pots. Thank you!

I would move them to a warmer location for propagation. You will just have to wait and see if the roots themselves were effecting by the cold or freezing temperatures.
Generally speaking temperatures around 70 to 75 degrees for propagation.
