Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI had planted some ginger plants in my garden last April. I didn’t harvest them, so I left them there and they re-sprouted. The new shoots appeared at the beginning of May this year, which makes them over a month old but they were accidentally cut down. What I would like to know is if these rhizomes will re-sprout. If yes, when can I expect them to do so? Also, what can I do to help the situation?

With ginger, I think it is likely that they will resprout. You should see new growth in as little as 2 weeks. A little fertilizer would not hurt, but other than that, they just need time.
