Q.Giant Bird of Paradise
My giant bird of paradise has leaf growing issues. Once a shoot comes in, something eats it or some disease starts browning the stems.

Hello,
Thank you for sending us your gardening question. It appears from your photographs that your plant has an insect problem. I would recommend that you treat it with a systemic insecticide that can be applied to the base and absorbed through the roots. Cut off any damaged leaves and stems. Perhaps give it a little nitrogen rich fertilizer, and your plant should recover nicely.
