Lizards are stripping new growth from plants such as bougainvillea and honeysuckle ground cover Have tried spraying with Tabasco, other repellents Doesn’t work

True lizards don't eat plants; they are carnivores and more likely to eat the bugs in your yard. If you want to get rid of them anyway, the best management is to make the yard inhospitable to them. Here is how:
