Q.Getting Red and Yellow Bell Peppers to Ripen

Anonymous added on July 24, 2011 | Answered

This is my first year trying to grow any kind of vegetable besides tomato plants. I planted several red, green, and yellow bell pepper plants this year. While they are growing tremendously, I can’t seem to get them to turn color before they start rotting. They are all the same size as the ones in the grocery store, but if I try to leave them on longer, then they start rotting on the bottoms. Please help!
