Q.get rid of chipmunks in plants

Anonymous added on July 6, 2015 | Answered

I’m having problems with chipmunks burying nuts in my potted plants on my deck and not only will the chipmunks dig them back up but the squirrels are getting in on it. They’re digging my plants to the roots and leaving them die. I have to replant on a daily basis! Any solution to this problem?

To prevent them digging, try making simple cages for the plants out of chicken wire. The holes in the wire allow the plants to grow, but keeps the rodents from getting to the bulbs or roots beneath.
