Does it matter if you use tap water or purified water to germinate pinto beans? Which works best?

Germinating pinto beans with either tap water or purified water is fine. There will probably be no difference or only a very small difference. Purified or distilled water is best for certain very sensitive plants, like carnivorous plants, but most plants really don't care.
