Gerbera Daisy

I planted two Gerbera daisy plants in one pot, one red & one yellow – the red blooms and reblooms but the yellow only bloomed once when first planted. Why?

It is hard to say. They are two different varieties and may have slightly different traits when it comes to reblooming. Kind of like why one person can draw well but another cannot. Some are just born with the talent while others are not.

You can help to encourage the yellow one to rebloom by removing any spent blossoms. The fewer possible seed heads left on the plant, the more likely the plant is to try to make more, which makes more pretty flowers for us.
