Geraniums

Why do my geranium flowers turn dark and petals fall off (and when I pinch them off, no new flowers grow)? I used potting soil w/fertilizer and fertilize occasionally as well. Can it be too much water or not enough? Thank you.

sounds like your spoiling your geraniums too much water, I never feed mine and they are very happy
