Q.Geranium Caterpillar

Anonymous added on August 24, 2011 | Answered

I found 2 white, kind of spiny/woolly caterpillars in my geraniums. I’m not sure they were actually eating them, because there was also a dead Japanese beetle. What are they and how do I prevent them from coming back?

Without a picture, it would be hard to identify it. But perhaps this is it: http://bugguide.net/node/view/220119

Regardless, all caterpillars are treated the same way: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/pests/insects/prevent-caterpillars.htm
