Q.Garlic Harvested Too Late

Anonymous added on September 3, 2013 | Answered

I left my garlic in until the stems were brown and dry. I have plenty of little starters on the tops of these brown stems. Should I plant them for next year? Are the old bulbs underground ruined? Do I have to throw them away?

Replant it next year and it should be okay. Garlic, being a biennial, is pretty sturdy and will withstand neglect.
