garlic growing from pieces of bulb
I've always thought garlic could only grow from seed or a bulb. A friend roto tilled his garlic last year. The bulbs had been planted previous fall and he was impatient and didn't think they would come up. This year he has hundreds of tiny bulbs growing - or at least he thinks it is all garlic, as it is growing in area garlic was planted. Is this possible? Thank you.
