Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI want to buy a christmas tree to replant in a big garden.
But I dont know what type will be the best.
Its going to be in New Jersey, and I need the tree to be 10-12 ft tall.
Low maintenance, not extreme roots.
Which one do you recommend?

I have several questions. Have you given the ultimate size of the tree, 10-12 ft, or size upon purchase? How much sun will the tree get once planted? Is the soil clay-like or more sandy? Will it be subject to salt spray from the ocean of from streets? Pines and spruce are well-known for their shallow roots. Ball and burlap trees stand a better chance than trees grown in containers. Be careful to keep the burlap moist. I hope these articles help or resubmit your question with the requested information. https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/christmas-trees/plant-your-christmas-tree.htm [1]
