Q.Gardening in Belize (Beachfront Property)
I have purchased the following seeds: Safflower; White Japanese Lilac; Purple Giant Allium Gogarten and Purple Climbing Rose. My soil is very salty, and the winds are constant at 10 MPH with gusts up to 30MPH frequently. I have a garden behind my house which blocks most of the wind, but the salt air is still heavy.
I have tried 24 different plants including Veggies and flowers and nothing can grow in my soil. I now use potting soil in containers, and can grow just about anything.
Can you offer any advice on growing the aforementioned seeds?
Thank you
Tom Shannon
