Gardening, Growing Fresh Herbs Indoors From Seeds

Question

I have been trying to grow fresh basil, thyme, rosemary and chives indoors from seeds. There seems to be mold growing in the pots with the plants (which just came up). What am I doing wrong or is this ok?
