Q.Gardenia Tree

Anonymous added on April 5, 2014 | Answered

I just bought a gardenia tree. Fed it and has been watered often but I have noticed a lot of yellow leaves. Some are full leaves and some are coming in yellow. What am I doing wrong or what am I not doing right?

It may be in over wet soil. How often do you water? Is the soil relatively moist? If so, you may need to allow it to dry out some, and if possible, improve the drainage. Yellow leaves normally signal that the plant is under some type of stress. In order to remedy the problem, you must first try to pinpoint the issue.
