Gardenia Planting

Is it good to plant a newly rooted gardenia cutting in the outdoors now or should I keep it potted indoors and plant it in the spring?

You can actually plant it at either time–spring or fall. This depends on your personal preference and the size of your seedling. If it’s still relatively small, I would simply put it in a container until spring to ensure it survives over winter. Larger, more established plants can go in the ground in fall.
