Q.gardenia plant

Zone Holyoke, MA 01040 | lchicork added on October 30, 2016 | Answered

Are there any suggestions as to what I can do for my dying gardenia plant? All the leaves are dry and brown? It was doing wonderful up until a month ago and I am not sure why this happened. When exactly is it too late to help the plant and how to tell? It was my mom’s who just passed away and I would really love to bring this back to life.

What can I do?

Thank You,
Lauren Chicorka

Gardenia can be finicky plants.
If your plant is indoors, humidity is important to keeping your plant healthy.
You can test the branches of you plant. If they snap off; they have died.
If they bend; they are still alive.

Pruning away the dead plant material can be done to clean up your plant.
Then make adjustments to the plants care.
