Q.Gardenia plant
I have a gardenia “tree” in a large container on my porch. It gets morning sun. It was probably stressed when I bought it at Home Depot since it was marked down. It’s putting out new buds but they are turning brown and many leaves have turned brown and fallen. I sprinkled Osmocote over the dirt after it was planted. I’ve had it for over a month and have been fearful of watering too much. At first I gave it a gallon of water every three or four days, then lately I waited a week. I know it’ll die if it dries out so I’m just not sure how often to water. I’m not a real “green thumb” type. Please help!
Thx, Dawn
Gardenia are a finicky plant.
