Gardenia Leaves Turning Yellow

I have 3 dwarf or miniature (not sure which) gardenias that I planted last year in the front of my house (each within 1 foot of the other). The two side plants are doing GREAT with dark green leaves and so many blooms. The center plant has leaves which are yellowing and a few, small blooms. I believe all the plants share the same conditions, so what can I do to make the gardenia in the center flourish as the other two are?
