Q.gardenia
I have a gardenia plant and noticed I have small round green bugs on the leaves and stems. Also, there is a sticky, almost like a sap like, substance on the leaves. Can you advise me as what to do? I had it inside the house as a potted plant, but put it outside because of the bugs. Thank you.

It sounds like you have an aphid problem. The sticky substance is produced by them and will stop once the pest issue is addressed. I personally like to use neem oil on these pests. These articles can help: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/pests/neem-oil-uses.htm
