Gardenia

How often should my gardenia plant be watered and also misted? I have been lightly misting once a day and watering when the soil feels dry. However, the leaves are starting to turn yellow and some of the buds are dropping off before they even open. Also, some of the buds are turning brown before they open.

Yellow leaves normally signal that the plant is under some type of stress. In order to remedy the problem, you must first try to pinpoint the issue.
