Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a gardenia growing under a live oak. It is very low to the ground, looking more like ground cover. We bought this house 3 years ago and it was there. I doesn’t get any taller and blooms faithfully. I’m curious about what type it is.

There are many names of Miniature Gardenia and they are marketed as dwarf plants or ground cover.
They grow 6 to 12 inches tall and will spread 24 to 36 inches.
Partial to full sun and organic, well drained locations.
Water weekly or more in warm weather.
Lovely plant and I am jealous!
