Last summer I mixed shredded newspapper along with a bag of cow munure, shredded leaves, coffee grounds, tea bags, kitchen scrap, and grass. This is the first time I added shredded newspaper and the compost is not ready to use this spring. Yes, I have turned my compost twice this year.
