Q.Fuchsia Grown as a climbing vine

Zone Long Beach, CA 90807 | gannon322 added on April 29, 2018 | Answered

Hello, I was at my local nursery today and saw Fuchsia Millenial manicured and growing into an upright climbing vine. Is it possible to train them to grow along a trellis similar to honeysuckle? I’m in southern california. The area I would plant gets morning sun, but it shaded the rest of the day.

Thanks,
Graham

Yes, you can grow these on a trellis as well! This article will give you more information on the care of these: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/flowers/fuchsia/growing-fuchsia-flower.htm
